30 stations to the Kaunertal Glacier

The Kaunertal Glacier Road winds its way from the village of Feichten in the Kaunertal (1,273 metres above seal level) right up to the edge of the "eternal ice" at an altitude of 2,750 metres. In the course of its 26 kilometres, it covers a total of 29 bends and  an altitude difference of almost 1,500 metres. You`ll find numerous interesting, clearly marked features right by the side of the road. At the end of the road the new Kalesjochbahn lift takes you up to 3,108 metres above sea level, Detailed informatin is available in our Glacier Road file.

• *Summer Card or Guest Card – holders of a completed summer Card or Guest Card for the Landeck Region enjoy the reduced-rate 14-day toll ticket. The toll charge is always for a return trip. Hire cars can only buy day toll tickets.
