The new Karlesjochbahn lift starts right at te car park at the end of the Glacier Road. The 8-seater cable car takes you up to an altitude of 3,108 meteres in just under 5 minutes. Enjoy the magnificent views of the kaunertal glaciel worl and the Weißseespitze ( 3,518m) on the ride up. Once at the mountain station, a breathtaking panoramaic view extends before you from Drei-Länder-blick (3-country view). You are now right on the border between austria and italy. Look out for the ortler (3,905m) on the Italian side and the Bernina Group with the Piz bernina (4,049m) in swiss territory. Free guided tours into the glacial crevasse and on the glacier trail add to the unique range of activities on offer at the Kaunertal Glacier.

• Lift operation – daily from 9 am - 4.30 pm
• Restaurant Weißsee – daily from 8 am - 4.30 pm
• Children – up to 14 years (born 1995 and after) accompanied by a parent free
• Disabled guests – disabled guests with a disability ID card (min. 60% according to official ID) pay youth rates.
• Groups – Discount with min. 10 people. The lift tickets must all be bought together by the group leader. Equivalent free ticket for every 10th person.
